Non-essential travel to Denmark is restricted from many countries outside the European Union, including the United States.

Only U.S. residents who qualify for a travel exception (called a “worthy purpose” by the Danish government) can enter Denmark.

Anyone coming to Denmark from a country or region against which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-essential travel – including the United States – is strongly encouraged to stay home for 14 days after arriving in Denmark

The US Department of State has relaxed the entry norm from Level 4 to Level Advisory, which says Reconsider travel to Denmark due to COVID-19. Exercise increased caution in Denmark due to terrorism.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 Travel Health Notice for Denmark due to COVID-19.
