Two confirmation emails must be received. The first is the reservation confirmation. The second is the Electronic Ticket Receipt (ITR). If the second email is not received, contact us on 1 844 869 5222.

e-Tickets will be e-mailed within one or two business days. In case you do not receive the e-ticket due to any reason, you will be contacted and a paper ticket will be shipped to you through FedEx.

Cheapfaremart.com accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA and Debit Card. All payments will be accepted in Canadian or US dollars. Your local currency will be converted to US or Canadian dollars if you use the credit card of another country.

Use our flight booking engine available on every webpage to search for flights, compare fares, and select one to proceed with booking. Enter the passenger details and other travel information and make the payment to complete the booking. All reservations must be made in the exact name of the person who is traveling. For international travel, the name must match the name on the passport. Cheapfaremart has established these procedures to prevent credit card fraud and protect our customers. An e-Ticket is sent to you via email within one business day.

Consolidator Airline Tickets are discounted airfares that most major Airlines sell to help fill up their seats. These tickets are usually cheaper than the lowest published fare available directly from the airline company. Cheapfaremart has way over 2,000,000 consolidator fares from approximately 60 airlines.

Some major airlines do not permit online reservation. You may book your flight ticket with such airlines over the phone only. We have referred such carrier as “Major Airline” on the result pages.

We do not accept bookings for travel within 3 business days of your departure through the Internet in order to ensure delivery of your tickets prior to your departure.

Please make bookings by calling on the helpline number in case of last minute flights. Your reservation cannot be changed without large penalties. The cost of which depends on the airline. International consolidator tickets are not refundable.

On the first scheduled day of your travel, your tickets are completely non-refundable and usually cannot be changed. All changes in the schedule must be made before the original date of departure.

Yes, provided the airline you opt for permits it doing so in advance. The confirmation regarding seat selection will be made once the transaction completes. The availability of a selected seat might change during the process of flight booking. The seat you selected at the beginning might become unavailable at the time of transaction. The seat gets assigned to a customer who completes the purchase earlier.

If seats are unavailable on the displayed seat map, you can obtain a seat assignment upon check-in.

Airlines reserve the right to change your pre-seat assignment to accommodate a passenger (s) with disability. Bulkhead seats are subject to reassignment. We appreciate your cooperation in these unusual circumstances.

Date, Name Change or Correction

This depends on the fare conditions for the ticket purchased and the availability of the ticket with your airline on the date you want to depart from.

This depends on the fare conditions. In Basic Economy Fare, for example with American Airlines, it’s not allowed. Call us at least before 24-hour of the departure and provide valid supporting documents.

Cancellation and Refund

This depends on the fare conditions for the ticket purchased. Within 24-hour period of the ticket purchase, you may seek a full refund. After that, the refund is processed after the deduction of airline penalty.

However, basic economy tickets with low-cost and ultra-low-cost carriers like Spirit, Southwest and Frontier Airlines with departure within 7 days of the ticket purchase are non-refundable from the time of purchase. However, a credit is issued to you (as per airline’s policy), which you may redeem within one year from the date of cancellation of the original ticket.

Airlines may apply a ticket change fee at the time of booking of the new ticket. The difference in fare is payable.

The refund is usually processed within 7 business days of receipt of the required refund information. The credit card refund may take up to two billing cycles before appearing on a credit card statement. You may contact your airline or card issuer to check the credit status.

If your flight got cancelled by the airline you booked with, we may help you take an alternate flight with the same carrier after taking your consent. However, if that time doesn’t suite your travel requirements, you can claim for a full refund.

Price Match Satisfaction is a policy from Cheapfaremart safeguarding the interest of its customers. If within 24 hours of the purchase of any airline ticket from us, you happen to find the same travel itinerary or flight with any major online travel agency in the US at a lower price, we will refund the difference. Or you have the option to seek a full refund.

To get a visa, most countries require that your passport be valid for at least 6 months past your scheduled return to the U.S. If you are applying for a multiple entry visa, and the expiry date of your passport is near, you should consider renewing your passport first. Visas go invalid once your passport expires.

Validity stands for the time before a travel document expires. Duration stands for the maximum stay permissible to a traveler as per his or her visa document. A Brazilian multiple entry visa may have a validity of five years, however, the maximum duration of stay at any one time is 90 days.

The processing fees for visa and Passport is inclusive of government/document issuing fees, delivery charges, rush surcharges (if any), our service fees and foreign national surcharges.

As an adult, the minimum age to apply for a US passport is 16 years. Children below 16 can apply for a passport by attaching any one of the below documents expressing parental relationship:

  • U.S. birth certificate (also evidence of U.S. citizenship)
  • Consular Report of Birth Abroad (also evidence of U.S. citizenship)
  • Foreign birth certificate
  • Adoption decree
  • Divorce/Custody decree

Both parents/guardians must authorize the issuance of the child's passport. The best way to do this is for both parents/guardians to go with the child in person to apply for the passport.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

A hand baggage and items like a camera bag, a briefcase, an overcoat, a wrap or a blanket, an umbrella or a walking stick, are generally allowed for free. Dimension of the hand baggage is limited. However, the carry-on might be restricted with Basic Economy Fare. Contact your airlines to have the updated information.

You need to pay a baggage fee as per the airlines. Baggage fees range from $15 up to $200 or more depending on the size and weight of the bag and is per checked bag. Contact the airline to know about the baggage policy and fees.

Airlines may also accept luggage of non-customary shapes and sizes including sports equipment, musical instruments, animal bag, baggage for children (stroller/pushchair), instruments supporting mobility, etc., on flights on condition that it is able to fit properly in the aircraft hold. Shipment of items can be free or chargeable. Contact your airlines to know more.

For lost or damaged baggage, your airline will provide a reimbursement as per its policy. Certain items (e.g., cash, jewelry, cameras) are excluded from liability for lost or damaged checked baggage. Take note of the limitations and exclusions linked with the baggage policy of the airlines. You need to notify of the lost or damage to the customer care of the airlines and cooperate with them.

Flying during Pregnancy

The best time to fly is in the middle of pregnancy, roughly between the 14th and 28th weeks, which is also when you are feeling best. While booking a return ticket, don’t miss out on calculating what stage of pregnancy you will be at on your return.

If you are traveling after the 37th week of pregnancy, you need a certificate from your doctor or gynecologist confirming you to be fit for traveling by plane. Up to the 37th week of pregnancy you can travel without any special certificates, although it is still a good idea to consult your doctor. Unaccompanied Minor

It depends on the airline’s policy. Some airlines like American Airlines allow children between 5 and 7 years to board and fly alone with a nonstop flight. AA permits children in the age group 8-14 years to take any nonstop or direct flight, or any connecting flight through Charlotte, NC (CLT), Washington Reagan, D.C. (DCA), Dallas Forth Worth, TX (DFW), New York, NY (JFK and LGA), Los Angeles, CA (LAX), Miami, FL (MIA), Chicago, IL (ORD), Philadelphia, PA (PHL) and Phoenix, AZ (PHX).

Those in the 15-17 age group don’t have to use the unaccompanied minor service, but it’s still available to them. When traveling alone, children 16 years of age and older can book online, to book children 15 years of age.

Unaccompanied minor charges might be levied at the time of flight reservation. The unaccompanied minor service fee is $150 (plus tax) each way with American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta. Frontier, JetBlue and Spirit charge $100 each way; Alaska has the cheapest unaccompanied-minor fee, charging $25 each way for nonstop or direct flights, and $50 for connecting flights. These fees may change based on an airline’s policy. We advise you to check with your airlines to know the updated information.

Anyone under 18 traveling internationally without both parents may be required to present a Letter of Consent. Also, bring your child at airport with age of proof. For more details, check with the airlines before confirming the flight ticket for your child.

Restricted or Hazardous Materials

Unsafe items or anything that can trigger any risk is restricted. Know what you can pack in your carry-on and checked baggage before arriving at the airport by reviewing the advisory given by the Transportation Security Administration website.

There are some items that you cannot bring into the United States, or that you can bring in only under certain conditions. Here is an illustrative list:

  1. All products made from sea turtles
  2. All ivory, both Asian and African elephant
  3. Rhinoceros horn and horn products
  4. Furs from spotted cats
  5. Furs and ivory from marine mammals
  6. Feathers and feather products from wild birds
  7. Most crocodile and caiman leather
  8. Most coral, whether in chunks or in jewelry

General Screening

In checked in baggage they are allowed, but in carry-on baggage there are some restrictions. A carryon baggage with powders greater than 350mL or 12 oz has to go through an additional screening at the central checkpoint. Powder-like substances over 12 oz. or 350mL in carry-on that cannot be resolved at the central checkpoint will not be allowed onto the cabin of the aircraft and will be disposed of.

Yes. Photographing, videotaping or filming at security checkpoints is not restricted unless it interfere with the screening or is suspected to breach any sensitive information.

Yes. You have to take out your pet from the carrying case and place the case through the X-ray machine. Keep control of your pet with a leash and remember to remove the leash when carrying your pet through the metal detector. Animal carriers will undergo a visual and/or physical inspection. Reach out to your airline to know particular’s about the pet transportation to ensure uninterrupted screening.

Contact your airline as times may vary depending on the airport and date of travel. In general, please have enough time for parking/shuttle transportation, airline check-in, obtaining a boarding pass and going through the security screening process, which includes screening of your carry-on bag. In the event you arrive at the airport without proper ID, because it is lost or at home, you may still be allowed to fly. By providing additional information, TSA has other ways to confirm your identity, like using publicly available databases, so you may board your flight. If your identity cannot be verified, you will not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint.

Disability Assistance

Yes. The traveler shall identify with the airline as a person with a disability. The person shall specify whether they need wheelchair assistance or guided assistance. Travelers shall reach the airport in advance and must inform the airport staff of the type of disability or assistance they need. In case of guided assistance, airline staff escort a person with a disability from their entrance terminal or ground drop-off point to the security checkpoint, and departure gate and finally make the person board the flight. Likewise, at the arrival airport, the airline staff assist the person at the baggage claim area and vehicle pick-up location.
