EDC Dawn (May 20-24, 2027) is the second weekend of EDC Las Vegas 2027. It is part of Insomniac's new “Dusk Till Dawn” concept, which splits EDC Las Vegas into two consecutive three-day festival weekends.

[III] Dusk Till Dawn experience | May 13–24, 2027

The Dusk Till Dawn experience is essentially the defining rhythm of EDC Las Vegas: you arrive around sunset, experience the festival through the night, and can still be dancing when the sun comes up.
What to expect
1. Sunset marks the beginning
  • Huge crowds arriving for the evening
  • Festival art installations and illuminated structures
  • DJs already performing across multiple stages
  • Food, drinks and merchandise areas
  • The atmosphere gradually changing from daylight to a fully illuminated festival
2. The festival transforms after dark
Once night falls, EDC becomes much more visually dramatic. The stages use enormous LED screens, lasers, lighting effects, pyrotechnics and other production elements.
3. Rides and festival attractions
One unusual feature of EDC is that it isn't just about music. The festival traditionally incorporates carnival rides, art installations, performers and interactive spaces.
You can therefore spend part of the night:
  • Watching a headliner
  • Riding a carnival attraction
  • Exploring art installations
  • Taking photographs
  • Discovering smaller stages
  • Taking a break at a food or lounge area
4. The “Till Dawn” part
This is where EDC differs from a conventional evening music festival.
As the night progresses, the desert environment begins changing again. The darkness gives way to the first light of morning, while music continues.

[IV] Camp EDC — full experience | May 13–24, 2027

To make the best of the Dusk Till Dawn festival, make EDC your home for 12 days. That means no packing up after one weekend. Just more time to meet new friends, discover new experiences, dance under the Electric Sky, and create memories.
The organizer clearly sets the purpose of EDC CAMP as: “For more than three decades, EDC has been about creating a place where you can step into a world built on unity, community, connection, music, freedom, and unforgettable memories.”

Party-prep tips for EDC Dawn visitors

EDC isn't just a three-hour concert where you are just a spectator. The visit includes hours of walking, dancing, and exploring the festival grounds. Here are some cool suggestions to match the energy.
1. Rest before and arrive relaxed
A common mistake is treating Las Vegas like a normal vacation and spending the entire day sightseeing, shopping, and partying before heading to EDC. When you are already drained of energy, it’s hard to survive the demanding hours. Get adequate sleep the night before, and by morning of the day you are to attend EDC. Have a proper afternoon meal and start preparing.
2. Eat before heading out
Though you will find food inside EDC, arriving hungry isn’t a good idea to start a long night. Pack according to the current festival rules and plan to use the festival's food and beverage areas once inside.
3. Hydration is essential
Las Vegas is a desert environment, and you're combining that environment with hours of dancing and walking. For convenience, water stations are set up everywhere, and you can refill your approved water bottle.
4. Wear comfortable shoes
EDC fashion can be elaborate, but comfortable footwear is non-negotiable. Here is what to expect on the ground.
  • Lots of walking
  • Standing for long periods
  • Dancing
  • Uneven or crowded areas
  • Late-night travel back to your hotel
5. Protect your ears
You're going to be around extremely loud sound systems for hours. Consider bringing high-fidelity concert earplugs. They reduce sound exposure while allowing you to enjoy the music.
6. Outfits
The festival costumes may vary. However, prioritize comfort over anything.
  • Colorful outfits
  • Reflective clothing
  • LED accessories
  • Comfortable shorts or pants
  • Crop tops and lightweight tops
  • Sneakers or other supportive footwear
  • Hats and sunglasses
  • Creative makeup and accessories
7. Shuttle or transportation
  • Personal transport: Drive to the Speedway, but EDC traffic can be substantial. Paid parking areas are available.
  • Official EDC shuttles: Dedicated shuttle routes connect selected Las Vegas-area hotels/locations with the Speedway.
  • Rideshare/taxis: Pickup and drop-off arrangements are designated by the festival. Expect significant walking or waiting.
8. Have a phone strategy
In case you get separated from your group, you can unite easily if your phone is not dead. Make sure your phone is fully charged and you have battery bank to support further if needed.
9. Understand the festival map
Before entering EDC, identify:
  • Your favorite stages
  • Restrooms
  • Water stations
  • Food areas
  • Medical facilities
  • Guest services
  • Exits
  • Your shuttle pickup location
