Located 6 miles (10 km) northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas, Dallas Love Field (IATA: DAL, ICAO: KDAL) is a city-owned public airport. It served as the primary airport of the city until the opening of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) opened in 1974.

Public Transport Connectivity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is the public transit authority for Addison, Carrollton, Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Garland, Glenn Heights, Highland Park, Irving, Richardson, Rowlett, Plano & University Park. Besides, rental car services are offered by app or web-based service providers like Advantage and Hertz.

Terminal Information

There are two terminals, Main Terminal and Legend Terminal. The first terminal is shared jointly by Delta and Southwest. The latter one handles flights with Legend Airlines and Delta Connection/Atlantic Southeast Airlines.
