Paris Orly Airport, popularly referred to as Orly (IATA: ORY, ICAO: LFPO), is an international airport located partially in Orly and partially in Villeneuve-le-Roi, 7 NM (13 km; 8.1 mi) south of Paris, France. Until the opening of Charles de Gaulle Airport in March 1974, Orly Airport serves as the primary airport.

Orly Airport is a hub for Air France, Aigle Azur, French Bee, HOP!, Transavia France and Corsair International. It handles domestic and international flights to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, North America, East Asia and Southeast Asia.

Public Transport Connectivity

Orly Airport is connected to the RER B train line at Antony train station by the Orlyval automatic shuttle. Orlyval is free to use between the two Orly terminals (west and south), however it costs €9.30 between Antony and Orly Airport.

The RATP, Bus Direct (Bus Line 1 and Bus Line 2), Noctilien, VEA, Athis Cars, and Albatrans operate bus services connecting with the airport.

The extension of Paris Métro Line 14 to Orly is in progress and is expected to get completed by 2024.

Terminals Information

Orly Airport has four terminals as described below.

Terminals 1 and 2

Collectively, the terminals were referred to as West Terminal until March 2019. The terminals comprise two floors and a gate area of four “fingers” rather than a brick-style layout.

The ground level 0 handles the arrivals. It has got 8 baggage reclaim belts as well as several service facilities and shops.

Level 1 handles the departure. It has multiple stores and restaurants. This central departures area is connected to four gate areas named halls 1–4 which contain departure gates 10A–10P, 20A–20L, 31A–31F and 40A–40G respectively.

Terminal 3

Inaugurated recently in April 2019, this is a three-level Terminal that bridges Terminals 1, 2 and 4, and allows customers to travel between all areas of the airport under one roof. It has a 5,000 sqm of Duty Free shopping area along with new restaurants and lounges.

Terminal 4

Previously labeled as the South Terminal, this innovative 1961 steel-and-glass terminal building consists of six floors. Level 0 has the arrivals facilities as well as several shops and service counters.  Basement level (−1) along with the upper levels 2, 3 and 4 contain service facilities, restaurants and office space.
