The airport remained at the bottom of the list of 28 major airports in North America. Around 70% of the flights took off on time from the airport. The OTP report of OAG also approves the poor performance of the airport. Based on the timings of 435,722 flight operations, the airport managed to have an OTP of 69.1 percent.

Public Transportation to and from Airport

Pearson Airport operates buses on the routes connecting the airport with Toronto and suburbs including MIssissauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Hamilton and beyond. Besides, the Public Transit System includes TTC (Toronto), GO Transit, MiWay (Mississauga), and Brampton Transit.
Car rental companies to the likes of Avis/Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise, Hertz and National/Alamo are ready to serve passengers. All terminal car rentals have been moved to Terminal 1. The off-airport car rentals will still be operating out of Viscount station.
Ride sharing apps like Uber, Lyft or Facedrive are an affordable means. Licensed operators are available from Terminal 1 and 3.
Train options are available too. Union Pearson Express (UP Express) operates train services from Pearson Airport to Union Station in downtown Toronto in every 25 minutes. Adult one-way fare from Pearson to Union is $12.35. Children under 12 years of age ride free.
