Travelers who do not possess a valid certificate to proof negative COVID 19 test results or travelers with symptoms are required to take a Covid-19 test and quarantine themselves unless the test result is out. If found negative, they will be sent to hospital, and the hospitalization cost has to be borne by their insurer or themselves.

Travelers with COVID-19 symptoms have to undergo PCR tests at designated laboratories in Portugal. The COVID-19 test cost (70 and 80 euros) has to be borne by travelers, unless he/she is covered by French Health insurance (“Sécurité Sociale”). Travellers are asked to show civic responsibility and to follow the health precautions recommended by the authorities.
