Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), known informally as Schiphol Airport is the main international airport of the Netherlands. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) southwest of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, North Holland.
The airport ranks as the third-busiest airport in Europe by passenger volume and the busiest in Europe in terms of aircraft movement. The airport is built as a single-terminal concept: one large terminal split into three large departure halls.
Schiphol is the hub for KLM and its regional affiliate KLM Cityhopper as well as for Corendon Dutch Airlines, Martinair, Transavia and TUI fly Netherlands. The airport also serves as a base for EasyJet and LEVEL.

Ground Transportation

Multiple ground transportation options are there to facilitate the movement of passengers and visitors to and from the airport.

Smooth transfer facility is provided. If you are traveling on the same ticket, your baggage is taken care by the airport staff. However, when traveling on two separate tickets, you need to collect the baggage from the baggage reclaim area and check-in again.

Terminals and Lounges Information

The airport has a single terminal with three halls, namely 1, 2 and 3.
Departure Hall 1 consists of Piers B and C. Pier B has 14 gates and Pier C has 21 gates. Departure Hall 2 consists of Piers D and E. Departure Hall 3 consists of three piers: F, G, and H/M
After security check-in completes, you steps in Lounge 1, 2, 3 or 4. From here, you can shop, eat out at bars and restaurants, and even visit a hotel and museum.
