BWI Marshall Airport is 9 miles south of downtown Baltimore and 32 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. It is the busiest airport in the region, serving over 25 million passengers. The airport has been named after a Baltimore native who became the first African American to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States.

Terminals and Lounges Information
The airport has five concourses. Concourses A and B were merged into a single concourse in the renovations completed in 2005. In the second phase of renovation in 2017, Concourse D and E were merged together. There are lounges controlled by airlines as well as third-party vendors like Chesapeake Club Lounge in Concourse E and Airspace Lounge in Concourse D.
