BWI Marshall Airport is 9 miles south of downtown Baltimore and 32 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. It is the busiest airport in the region, serving over 25 million passengers. The airport has five concourses. Concourses A and B were merged into a single concourse in the renovations completed in 2005. In the second phase of renovation in 2017, Concourse D and E were merged together.
