Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA) is the oldest airport (1941) serving Washington, D.C. It is one of the major airports serving the city along with Washington Dulles International Airport. The airport is situated in Arlington, Virginia and is 6 miles from the center of Washington DC. DCA is a hub for American Airlines, which operates near-hourly air shuttle flights to Logan International Airport in Boston and New York LaGuardia Airport. Delta also operates near-hourly air shuttle flights to New York LaGuardia Airport which are all operated by Delta Shuttle.

Public Transport Connectivity

The Yellow and Blue lines of Washington Metro connects the airport (The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport station) with the rest of the city plus Virginia and Maryland. The airport station sits on an elevated outdoor platform station adjacent to Terminals B and C. There is an underground pedestrian walkway from the station to Terminals B, and C. Metered app-based taxi services are available with Uber and Lyft.

Terminals Information

The airport has four terminals, namely, Terminal A, B, C and D. The oldest terminal is A, which was designed by architect Charles M. Goodman. B and C are relatively newer that came into existence in 1997. Terminal D is the latest one located north of Terminal C.
