DTLA
Sip a cup of your favourite coffee while strolling the Arts District. This place was set up as a club in 1980, but couldn’t go far. Before being transformed into a coffee house, space served multiple purposes. Once it was the venue for the live performances by High-Performance Magazine. Out of the many fascinating tales that the coffee house has, one is it served as the stage for the famous American musician, singer, songwriter, and rapper.
3rd Steakhouse and Lounge
If a perfect nightlife is on your mind, this could be the right place. The restaurant-cum-bar serves their guests with the most excellent dinner choices and beverages. However, this place maintains its own identity. However, you won’t surprise it. The space also hosts events and exhibitions of works by local artists.
Cornerstone Theater
How could theatre remain untouched of Los Angles Arts District? Cornerstone Theater Company is a multi-ethnic, ensemble-based theatre company. It was founded in 1986 to create performances inspired by the life and practices of the rural and urban communities. What’s new or coming up? How to Reach the Arts District
The Arts District is strategically located near the center of Downtown LA making it easier accessible. The nearest Metro station is Alameda St. on the Gold Line of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. After leaving the station, opt for the bike share program offered by the Metro. The bike program has got its pickup and drop centers at multiple spots including 740 E 3rd St., 999 E 3rd St., 1245 Factory Place, 1301 Willow St., 720 E Temple St. that is close to the Arts District.
